The next time we see this concept it may be time for the 2018 Stadium Series. It will be late January or early February when we do see this Pens jerseys again and we'll find out at that time if the shine is still on it with readers. Great work Jake and good luck going forward! If memory serves me correctly, this will be the 3rd year in a row that Jake is in the COTY Semi-Finals.

The winner of the COTW vote for April 7-13 was Taylor R!

There were some great concepts in this vote, so a big congrats to Taylor for having one of his concepts emerge from the group. The jade and eggplant is still a favourite with fans. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Ducks go back to this at some point in the future.

The COTW nominees for the week of April 14-20 have been listed on the side of the page (black poll). If you are logged into a Google type account the poll will appear and you can have your vote counted up until Friday at noon Eastern time.

The winner of the Norfolk Admirals ReDesign competition was JJ!

JJ's winning entry has been moved into this week's COTW vote. As you can see this was a very close vote, so everyone at the top of the list should be proud of the work they have done.

A new competition will be announced during the week and will run for a week and a half again.

As of today here are the updated standings in the HJC Playoff Pool.

Let's take a look at the brackets as well.
What's been the best series of round 1? I will say the Leafs and Caps series has been fantastic and in my opinion, the best. However Edmonton and San Jose has been very good as well. Pens are looking good as well. Will they become the first back-to-back Cup champs since the '98 Red Wings?

Oddly enough I kind of counted the Pens out early, but now I'm almost rooting for them. Hard to believe that it's almost 20 years a team went back-to-back. And almost 30 since the last true dynasty.

Yes, sorry Chicago, despite what Bettman tries to say, 3 in 6 is not a good enough ratio to constitute a dynasty.
[Minimum requirements would be 3 cups in 4 years.]
